Authorized by U.S. X brand lubricant, Goble-Hunt performed investigation in 
2006 on their prestigious brand engine oil to protect their intellectual 
property rights. 
After receiving authorization, Goble-Hunt carefully analyzed customer 
complaint for that brand and implemented investigation based on the key points 
of such complaints. Through investigation for more than 20 days, Goble-Hunt 
investigator found a delivery truck appearing in various selling outlets and 
this truck entered various selling outlets through backdoor. Through further 
investigation, our investigator found this truck went back to a remote iron 
house in Longgang District each time after unloading. Through monitoring on the 
iron house, our investigator found out the iron house delivered various types of 
engine oil every day. For further verification, our investigator pretended to be 
salesperson to approach the delivery truck driver. Guided by the driver, our 
investigator went into the iron house and found target products on the shelves. 
To his amazement, our investigator found lubricants of various brands stored 
from floor to ceiling in the 200m2 warehouse.
Our investigator bought some samples of the target product at a price 1/3 
lower than market price and our client verified it as counterfeited product. 
After we completed investigation and evidence collection on the production venue 
of counterfeited products, the Legal Affairs Department of our client agreed to 
use legal proceedings to protect their intellectual property and consumers’ 
legitimate rights and benefits.
